In Afghanistan, at least 4 people were killed and 20 others wounded as gunmen wearing suicide vests attacked a national television and radio station in Jalalabad today. <br/><br/>The dead included a security guard and all three attackers. <br/><br/>Officials said, the assault began with bombers blowing themselves up, making way for others to enter the building of RTA, Afghanistan's national broadcaster. <br/><br/>As the attack unfolded, heavy gunfire could be heard from around the building of RTA located close to the Governor's compound in in Jalalabad, capital of Nangarhar province.<br/><br/>Attaullah Khughyani, a spokesman for the provincial governor said two of the attackers blew themselves up at the start of the operation but a third engaged security forces in a heavy gunbattle before being killed. <br/><br/>Militant group Islamic State claimed responsibility for the suicide attack.
