Afghanistan declares H1N1 emergency, shuts schools

Afghanistan authorities have ordered closure of schools for three weeks from today as a precautionary measure to check the possible rapid outbreak of swine flu in the country. The country has seen rapid spread of the virus and more than 300 people have been affected by the H1N1 virus in past few days. The epidemic claimed the life of at least one person over the past couple of days.
