Afghanistan Cricket Board will get liberal financial assistance from the International Cricket Council (ICC) after qualifying for the ICC Cricket World Cup 2015. The International Cricket Council in a news release said that it will provide one million dollar preparation fee to Afghanistan ahead of the tournament in Australia and New Zealand in 2015. This is in addition to the 422,000 dollar given to the Afghanistan Cricket Board in April this year for raising playing standard of its team.In addition Afghanistan will also receive 750,000 dollar under the ICC Development Funding Policy.Afghan cricket team made history by qualifing for the Cricket World Cup 2015, defeating Kenya in World Cup leag match in Sharjah on Friday.
