In Afghanistan, 10 people were killed and several injured in a bomb explosion near a mosque in Herat. The bomb was planted in a rickshaw. A spokesman for the provincial governor of the western Herat province said, the toll could rise. <br/>'<br/>In the capital, Kabul, police say a rocket struck the Indian diplomatic compound without killing or wounding anyone. No one has claimed responsibility for the attacks. <br/>'<br/>Meanwhile, President Ashraf Ghani said, more than 150 people died in last week's Kabul suicide blast, as he opened multi-national talks on bringing peace. The bombing was the country's deadliest militant attack since 2001. <br/><br/>Mr Ghani's government has faced protests for failing to tackle the deteriorating security situation. He told the meeting it is time for the Taliban to embrace peace or face the consequences. <br/>'<br/>Representatives of 23 nations including the US and Pakistan, as well as the EU, Nato and the UN are attending the two-day meeting, which launches what is being called the Kabul Process for Peace and Security Co-operation
