Afghanistan: At least 13 policemen, 16 Taliban killed in separate incidents

<span style="color: #222222;">At least 13 policemen were killed in the latest Taliban attacks in Afghanistan's central and eastern region. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Council member Ghulam Hussain Changiz in eastern Ghazni province said, the insurgents attacked a police outpost early this morning in Khugyani district, killing eight policemen, including a district commander. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">A Police spokesman said, the Taliban also attacked a police outpost in central Wardak province this morning, killing five policemen. Three policemen were injured in the attack.</span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Earlier, Afghan forces killed 16 Taliban and injured 19 others while evicting them from several villages in Dand-e-Ghori area in Baghlan province. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Police said, the security forces have recaptured several villages including the main base of Taliban rebels over the past four days. </span>
