In Afghanistan, at least 12 persons killed and 30 injured in a coordinated Taliban attack on a military base and police training center in Maidan Wardak province today. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">A Government spokeperson said  most of those killed in the attack were military personnel. He added that at least two Taliban fighters were also killed. Taliban has claimed responsibility for the attack.</span><br />
