Afghanistan President Mohammad Ashraf Ghani will arrive in New Delhi tomorrow on a one day visit to India. <br/><br/>During his visit, President Ghani will meet with President Ram Nath Kovind and have detailed delegation level talks with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. <br/><br/>The Prime Minister will host lunch in the honour of the visiting dignitary. External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj will call on President Ghani. He will also deliver a public address at Vivekanand International Foundation.<br/><br/>Our correspondent reports that the visit will build upon the recent high-level exchanges between the two countries, including the recent visits of Chief Executive of Afghanistan Dr Abdullah Abdullah and that of Foreign Minister of Afghanistan Salahuddin Rabbani for the meeting of the bilateral Strategic Partnership Council. <br/><br/>Both sides will review the entire gamut of multifaceted bilateral strategic partnership, including the New Development Partnership. They will also hold consultations and coordinate on furthering the shared objective of promoting peace, security, stability and prosperity in Afghanistan. <br/><br/>The two countries will also discuss the efforts to combat the menace of terrorism.
