In Afghanistan, a Policeman poisoned seven of his colleagues and shot them afterwards in southern Helmand province on Monday. A local television channel quoting spokesman for Helmand governor said, the incident happened in a police check post in Lashkargah, capital of Helmand province. The man escaped from the area with a police car alongwith some weapons. Helmand is one of the seven areas whose security responsibility is likely to be handed over to the Afghan forces in the first phase of security transition.
