Afghan plane goes missing, at least 43 people feared to be dead

At least 43 people are feared dead as Afghan passenger plane went missing yesterday. The search and rescue operations resumed this morning. The plane flying from northern city of Kunduz to capital Kabul, was carrying 43 people including five crew members. There were six foreigners aboard including three Britishers. Poor weather is hampering aerial searches for the plane which is suspected to have crashed in mountainous terrain in northern Afghanistan.NATO-led alliance is helping in the rescue operations and has sent helicopters to the area. It was not clear yet whether there were any survivors.
