Afghan & Nato forces killed nearly 36 Taliban militants in operation cleanup

Afghan and the NATO-led forces have killed nearly three dozen fighters during a joint operation against Taliban militants in the restive southern Helmand province. Spokesman for provincial administration Daud Ahmadi today said the forces launched a cleanup operation in Nad Ali district on Wednesday and killed 32 rebels.<br/><br/>Ahmadi also confirmed that three Afghan soldiers were killed and four others including a NATO soldier sustained injuries. However, he did not say if the operation is concluded. Taliban fighters have yet to make comment.<br/>
