An Afghan delegation will soon be visiting India to learn from the experiences and impact of ongoing rural development programs in the country. This was revealed by Indian Ambassador to Afghanistan Gautam Mukhopadhaya who called upon Rural Development Minster Dr C P Joshi in New Delhi today. Mr. Mukhopadhaya also apprised the Minister about the rehabilitation and infrastructure initiatives taken by Indian Government in Afghanistan.A 10-member general purpose Committee of the Manipur Legislative Assembly, led by the Speaker, Mr. Hemochandra Singh today called on the Speaker of the Goa Legislative Assembly Mr. Pratapsingh Rane at the Assembly complex at Porvorim in Goa.The committeee also met various committees of the Goa Assembly. Goa Speaker Mr. Pratapsingh Rane apprised the members on working of the house in the state.
