In Afghanistan, combined NATO and Afghan security force killed an insurgent attacker during an operation in Charkh district of Logar province on Friday. A press release issued by International Joint command in Kabul on Saturday says the force on tip off from local citizens was searching for a Taliban facilitator responsible for making and distributing roadside bombs for attacks against the Afghan National Army when the insurgent disguised in a woman’s burka attacked the security force.
