In Afghanistan, 34 people were killed and 24 injured in a bus accident on Saturday. The crash occurred when the bus lost control and overturned on a highway just outside Kandahar city in the Daman district. Kandahar governor's spokesman, Zalmay Ayubi said that some of the injured are in critical condition and have been taken to hospital.
