<span style="color: #222222;">In Afghanistan, 25 people were killed in an army helicopter crash in western Farah province. The helicopter was on way to Herat and was carrying senior officials. Naser Mehri, a spokesman for the Governor of Western Farah Province, said two army helicopters were on way to neighbouring Herat province when one lost control due to bad weather and crashed killing all persons on board. However, a Taliban spokesperson said fighters belonging to the armed group shot it down.</span><br />
