In Pakistan, seventeen militants have been killed and several wounded in an aerial offensive by the security forces in the the Orakzai Agency. Fighter jets bombarded militants’ hideouts in Torsamt and Ghaut Kazai areas, destroying 3 dens and killing 13 militants while several others were injured. In Shekhan area, four militants including a key commander of the outlawed Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan were killed and four others injured when explosives kept in a hideout went off. The explosion also destroyed arms and weapons stored in the hideout which was used for attaching security forces.
