<span style="color: #222222;">In Jammu and Kashmir, Advisors to Governor K Skandan and K.K Sharma jointly reviewed the progress on power projects sanctioned under Pradhan Mantri Development Package (PMDP) for Jammu and Samba districts in a meeting of senior officers in Jammu.<br />'' <br />'' The Advisors were informed that to provide 24×7 electricity to Jammu city, Rs 600 crore has been sanctioned for development/establishment of 28 receiving stations in Jammu city and its peripheries and 2 kanal land is required for each receiving station. They were further informed that land has been identified and the process of acquisition is in progress. <br />''<br />''The Advisors asked the concerned departments, agencies, to expedite the transfer of land to facilitate the development of projects vital for improving Power supply scenario in the city.
