In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Advisor to LG, Farooq Khan today maintained that the UT Administration is committed to provide all facilities and benefits under various schemes to the traders and industries of Jammu & Kashmir. AIR Jammu Correspondent reports that the Advisor was interacting with a delegation of Traders' Industry Cell at Civil Secretariat, Jammu. <br />''<br />''The delegation handed over a memorandum of demands to the Advisor and also put forward certain issues being faced by the traders on a day to day basis. Besides, they demanded compensation for dry fruit traders who suffered immense losses during the lockdown period. They also demanded waiving off rents and electricity bills of the shops under Jammu Development Authority (JDA), Municipality and Housing as the shopkeepers and small traders suffered losses due to less economic activity during the Corona Pandemic. <br />''<br />''<span style="color: #222222;">The delegation also demanded free hold to the industrial areas and permission to construct additional floors at the warehouse. The Advisor patiently listened to the demands and issues and assured them that all the issues pertaining to trade and the industrial sector shall be redressed in a time bound manner. He said that the traders will be soon provided with spacious ware houses equipped with all modern facilities near National Highway.</span><br />
