Advisor to J&K LG visits Ramban; takes stock of arrangements for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2021

<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, Advisor to Lieutenant Governor, Baseer Ahmad Khan, today visited Ramban and took stock of holding areas and arrangements made by the district administration for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra 2021, scheduled to begin from June 28. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">AIR  Correspondent reports that while briefing the Advisor, Deputy Commissioner, Ramban informed that the district administration has taken effective steps to increase the holding capacity of yatris from existing 4000 to 10000. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">Besides, additional holding areas have also been identified along side Jammu-Srinagar National Highway which will be made functional well before the yatra begins. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The Advisor directed the DC to make all necessary arrangements for Shri Amarnath Ji pilgrims related to food, accommodation, healthcare and security, so that they do not face any inconvenience during inclement weather or closure of the National Highway-44. </span><br />'' <br />'' <span style="color: #222222;">The DC assured that the district administration will take adequate measures to coordinate the Yatra in a hassle-free manner.</span><br />
