<span style="color: #222222;">In the Union Territory of Jammu and Kashmir, on the occasion of 159th Birth Anniversary of Swami Vivekananda, Advisor to LG Farooq Khan inaugurated a capacity building programme for children &nbsp;of Jammu district on child rights, child protection, Juvenile Justice Act and ICPS. While speaking on the occasion, Advisor Khan said that children themselves can become ambassadors for child protection in their schools, homes and society. He stressed that the children &nbsp;should dream big and work hard to fulfill their dreams. Khan said that Swami Vivekananda was a saint, great thinker, social reformer and a youth icon and his timeless teachings and wisdom are the driving force behind youth empowerment ever inspiring the youth to develop a sense of excellence and selfless work for the betterment of society. The Advisor urged the younger generation to build on virtues like character and a sense of duty towards the nation and fellow citizens. The Advisor appreciated the efforts made by the National Development Forum in the field of child right protection and asked them also to arrange counseling sessions for the children regarding child protection rights, Juvenile Justice and other welfare schemes.</span><br />
