After much speculations, BJP has decided to field its veteran leader L.K.Advani from Gandhinagar seat itself in Gujarat despite his reservations. Narendra Modi is to contest from Vododara also besides Varanasi. The list of 67 candidates released by the party this evening also shows that Actor turned politician Hema Malini will contest from Mathura and Olympian Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore from Jaipur Rural.
According to PTI, The decision to field Advani from Gandhinagar was reportedly taken taken depite he expressed his desire to fight the polls from Bhopal and not Gandhinagar.
