On the background of tomorrows’ Ganesh immersion and coming verdict on Babri Issue, The Maharashtra Chief Minister Ashok Chavan today asserted that state government is equipped with adequate security arrangement to handle law and order situation in Mumbai and Maharashtra. He was speaking in press conference at Sahyadri Guest house in Mumbai after series of meetings held with All party leaders, various religious leaders and media representatives. Chief Minister also informed the reporters that during the meeting leaders from 22 parties unanimously assured of maintaining peace and signed a statement in this regard. Deputy Chief Minister Chagan Bhujbal, Home minister R. R. Patil, Director General of Police D. Shivanandan and Police Commissioner of Mumbai Sanjiv Dayal were present in the meeting.
