Adelaide Test: India get another shaky start; Sehwag, Dravid out

In the fourth and final cricket test at Adelaide, the touring Indian side was 61 for 2 in the first innings against Australia, at stumps on Day 2.Gautam Gambhir on 30 and Sachin Tendulkar on 12, were at the crease, with Team India still trailing by 543 runs in the first innings. The hosts' had posted a mammoth 604 for 7 declared in the first essay.Skipper Virender Sehwag and Rahul Dravid were the Indian wickets to fall today. Sehwag was caught and bowled by Peter Siddle on 18, while Dravid was bowled on 1 off Ben Hilfenhaus.Earlier, Australia resumed the first innings at the overnight score of 335 for 3, with Michael Clarke on 140 and Ricky Ponting on 137 at the crease.Indian bowlers, who were made to sweat hard on the opening day yesterday, did not have much respite today either, as both the overnight batsmen stretched their 4th wicket stand to 386.Ricky Ponting led the Australian assault and scored his 6th double ton in Tests. Ponting was skillfully supported by Skipper Michael Clarke, who also scored a double century. Ponting amassed 221, while Clarke made 210, putting the Aussies in a commanding position in this final test. For India, Spinner Ravichandran Ashwin took the maximum of 3 wickets.Australia have already won the 4-match series, with victory in the first three tests.
