In Chhattisgarh, additional reinforcements have been sent to the spot of today’s encounter between the police and the naxalites in the Dantewada district. The encounter took place in the jungle near Gumiapal under the Kirandool police station area.Mr. T.J.Langkumer, I.G. Police Bastar division told AIR News a shortwhile ago that since the police parties have not yet returned from the site of the incident, nothing specific can be said at present. He further said that due to heavy rains in the area, it is not being possible to establish communication links with the police personnels at the site.
