Additional Mission Director of the government, Saurabh Jain went around different areas of New Delhi to take stock of the work being carried out under Swachh Bharat Mission today. <br/><br/>The Additional Mission Director visited Solid Waste Management, Waste to Energy Plant, Compost Plants, Bio-methanization Plant, Varmi composting and Gasification plant along with the functionaries of Public Health Department of NDMC. <br/><br/>He was apprised by the officers of the Department about steps taken to transform traditional methods in the sanitation field into scientific disposal and transportation of garbage. <br/><br/>He was informed that 100 percent door-to-door collection of garbage in residential and commercial areas is being carried out in a mechanized way through auto-trippers and tri-cycle rickshaws. <br/><br/>The Additional Mission Director appreciated the NDMC for the work being carried out under the Swachh Bharat Mission said that other Civic Bodies of the country should follow the footprints of NDMC regarding implementation of the projects related to Swachh Bharat Mission.
