In Uttar Pradesh, a sitting Additional Judge of the Allahabad High Court Justice Dasu Ram Azad died after long illness. He was about 52. He is survived with two sons and wife.<br/><br/>Justice Azad was suffering from cancer and admitted at a hospital at New Delhi. His cremation will take place tomorrow at Allahabad. <br/><br/>Justice Azad was one of the few members from Dalit community in higher judiciary in the state. He was elevated to the High Court on April 13 last year. His retirement was due on 2010.
