In Manipur, elections for the eight constituencies of the Autonomous District Council (ADC), Senapati and two constituencies of ADC, Ukhrul will be held on the 24th of the next month. The State Election Commission has issued a notification today in this regard. Last date of filing nominations for the elections is on the 29 of this month. Scrutiny of nominations will be held on the first of October next. Date of withdrawal of candidatures is on the 3rd October next.The eight constituencies of ADC, Senapati which are going for the polls are Thungam Khullen, Punanamei, Song Song, Maram, Lairouching, Chawainamei, Tadubi and Phaibung Khullen. The two constituencies of ADC, Ukhrul are Chingai and Shangshak. Voting could not take place in these constituencies in the Autonomous District Council Elections of the five Hill Districts of the state held in May and June last.
