In Maharashtra, the two member judicial panel probing Adarsh Housing Society scam submitted an interim report to the government. The interim report prepared by retired Justice J.A. Patil and former Chief Secretary of the State P Subrahmanyam includes the committee's findings on ownership and reservation of the plot of land at Colaba in south Mumbai, on which the scam-tainted Adarsh building stands. The government had approached the commission a few months ago seeking an interim report on title and reservation of the land.
