A special court in Mumbai today granted bail to the seven arrested accused in connection with the Adarsh Housing Society scam on 5 lakh rupees cash bond. The seven accused include former defence officials, AR Kumar, MM Wanchu, RC Thakur and TK Kaul, former senior IAS officers PV Deshmukh and Pradeep Vyas and former Congress MLC Kanhaiyalal Gidwani.

The court said that all the seven accused will have to remain present before the CBI twice a week and also asked them to submit their passports in the court. The seven accused can't leave Mumbai without court's permission
