Four accused including former Congress MLC Kanhaiyalal Gidwani has been arrested by CBI in connection with Mumbai Adarsh Housing Society scam. Gidwani's son Kailash has also been arrested on charges of bribery. Special Public Prosecutor Mandar Goswami, representing CBI in the Adarsh case in Bombay High Court and Income Tax consultant J K Jagiasi have also been arrested for allegedly accepting the bribe to dilute charges against the duo.

CBI claimed that it stumbled upon the information of bribery during the questioning the tax consultant today. .

All the four accused, booked under prevention of corruption act, were produced before Mumbai’s sessions’ court which remanded them to CBI custody till 16th March.
