<span style="color: #222222;">The Lieutenant Governor of Jammu and Kashmir, Girish Chandra Murmu has said, acts designed to arouse passion among the people and hurt their sentiments won't be tolerated. <br />''<br />''Reacting to the incident in which, miscreants set ablaze a shrine adjacent to a local Mosque in Kounsarbal Tral in Kashmir in the intervening night of 25-26 November, the LG said that perpetrators of this heinous act shall be brought to Justice. He has appealed to the people of J&K to maintain peace and calm and not get swayed by any rumour. The LG has directed the Director General of Police (DGP) to strengthen the security of Shrines across the J&K. He has also directed Divisional Commissioner Kashmir to take immediate measures at Government expenses so as to restore the shrine to its original pristine position. </span><br />
