The BJP has replaced L.K. Advani's loyalist and sitting MP Harin Pathak with actor Paresh Rawal from Ahmedabad East Lok Sabha seat in Gujarat.

This could rake up fresh trouble for the party after the row over L K Advani's ticket and denial of ticket to Jaswant Singh from Barmer constituency in Rajasthan.

In the fresh list of nine candidates announced yesterday, the BJP also decided to field state office in-charge of the party, Alok Sanjar, from Bhopal seat in Madhya Pradesh.

Sitting MP Prabhatsinh Chouhan would seek re-election from Panchmahal seat and former MLA Deep Sinh Rathore will contest from Sabarkantha.

Party general secretary Thawarchand Gehlot announced in New Delhi that two sitting MLAs Rajesh Chudasma and Debusingh Chouhan would contest from Junagadh and Kheda Lok Sabha seats.
