<span style="color: #222222;">The Centre has said an action plan has been launched nationwide to eliminate deaths due to rabies by the year 2030. In a written reply in the Lok Sabha today, Minister for Fisheries, Animal Husbandary and Dairying Parshottam Rupala said the action plan has been devised under the "One Health" approach, indicating specific roles of different stakeholders including various ministries. He said, due to the epidemiological characteristic of the rabies virus, the disease cannot be eradicated though deaths can be prevented.&nbsp;</span><br />
