Indian Golf Union, IGU Member, Ishwar Achanta has been invited by the R and A Rules Limited to officiate in the British Open Golf Championship. An official release in Chennai said, Ishwar Achanta, a prominent International Referee and IGU Chairman, Technical Rules and Amateur Status Committee, had earlier refereed in the 2005 British Open and at Royal Liverpoll, Hoylake in 2006. He had officiated in several events in India and abroad.
