An accused in 2008 Ahmedabad serial bomb blast case has been arrested in Ambedkar Nagar district of Uttar Pradesh. He was arrested in a joint operation of Gujarat police and Anti Terrorist Squad of Uttar Pradesh Police from Jahagirganj area of the district. Police says arrested person, Taiyab, is an active member of banned Student Islamic Movement of India, SIMI and has undergone training in Kerala. AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Gujarat Police has taken him to Ahmedabad on transit remand for further investigation.
