Employees Provident Fund beneficiaries can access their account online from next month. Union Labour Minister Mallikarjuna Kharge gave this information in the Review meeting of Regional Provident Fund Commissioners in New Delhi today. He said it will be possible for the beneficiaries to know the particulars of contributions made and balance amount available in their accounts through the EPF website. The Labour minister also said that many EPF offices have updated accounts till 2008-09. The current dated account updation will be made possible in another six months. He assured that settlement of claims will then be made within 30 days and grievances will be addressed at a faster pace.
