In Himachal Pradesh, about 20 persons are feared dead in a bus accident at Ashapuri near Palampur in Kangra district. The Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation Bus was coming from Palampur and was on its way to Ashapuri temple when it fell into a deep gorge. About 30 to 40 passengers were reportedly travelling in the bus. Due to the depth of the gorge, rescue operation has become difficult.
