Abhishek Verma has bagged Silver, India's first ever 'Archery World Cup Final' medal in the compound section in the summit clash in Mexico City. Turkey's Demir Elmaagcli won the gold defeating Verma 145-143. Verma, an Asian Games individual silver medalist beat Mario Cardoso of Mexico in the semifinals 150-142. India will be hoping for another medal from Deepika Kumari, a three-time World Cup Final silver medalist as she will be making a return in the showpieceevent. Seeded sixth, Deepika will open her campaign againstKorean third seed Kawanaka Kaori in the quarterfinals.
