Grandmaster and national champion Abhijeet Gupta has won the Sixth Kavala International chess tournament. After the ninth and final round at Kavala, Greece, on Thursday, the Indian finished with seven-and-a-half points out of a possible nine.In the final standings, Grandmaster SP Sethuraman finished third while Ashwin Jayaram ended sixth. Grandmaster Surya Shekhar Ganguly finished the tournament on six points.
