Five Bangladesh workers, who were freed on Tuesday seven months after their abduction in Afghanistan, will return to Dhaka on Sunday morning. Bangladesh Foreign Minister Dipu Moni will receive them at the Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport on their arrival. The five workers were part of a group of seven workers who were abducted when an armed group attacked the camp of a South Korean company on December 17th last year. One Bangladeshi employee had also been killed in the attack. Two of the workers were released a few days after they were abducted while the remaining five were kept as hostages. They were finally released this week with the help of the Afghanistan government which engaged the Afghan elders to negotiate their release with the kidnappers.
