An abandoned Yemeni boat was seized off the coast of Porbander district in Gujarat today. Coast Guard authorities said in New Delhi that they are probing whether the 14 Somalian pirates arrested last month near the coast of Unna taluka of Junagadh had any connection with the boat. Three Yemeni citizens whom the pirates had kidnapped were rescued in this operation.’Early this week too, another 18 Somalian pirates were arrested and three hostages were rescued off Dwarka coast. These included two Yemenis and a Tanzanian national.
