In Uttar Pradesh Additional District and Session Judge Ghaziabad today rejected bail application of Dr. Nupur Talwar, the co accused of high profile double murder of her teenaged daughter Aarushi and domestic help Hemraj. She is lodged in Dasna jail under judicial custody. The CBI has opposed the bail application of Nupur Talwar alleging that accused had tampered with evidence of the case.

AIR Lucknow correspondent reports that Judge reserved his judgment yesterday after hearing arguments of both the side of CBI and the accused. She had moved application to the Lower court for her regular bail following rejection of her bail application from special CBI court.

She had surrendered to the CBI court yesterday following direction by the Supreme Court. The apex court on April 27 had refused to stay the non-bailable warrant issued against her by the Ghaziabad based CBI court.

Aarushi and Hemraj were found murdered on the intervening night of May 16-17 in the year of 2008 at her NOIDA residence in Gautam Buddha Nagar district.
