Aam Aadmi Party will launch its anti graft national campaign against Congress and BJP at a rally in Haryana on Sunday next week. Talking to reporters after Party's Political Affairs Committee meeting in New Delhi today, party spokesperson Yogendra Yadav said that AAP will fight general elections under the leadership of Arvind Kejriwal. He said Congress and BJP should now come forward and form government in Delhi after they apparently colluded in assembly yesterday against Jan Lokpal Bill. He also urged to those responsible for Delhi's governance to pursue anti-corruption cases filed by the AAP government.
Congress accused the AAP of being non-serious to bring the Jan Lok Pal Bill. Pradesh Congress Committee President Arvinder Singh Lovely said that AAP wanted only to keep the bill alive as a political agenda. He said his party was not against the Bill. If Kejriwal had been serious on it he should have consulted with Congress leaders.
BJP leader , Dr. Harsh Vardhan said that his party is ready to face elections any time. On the Government formation he said he has already clarified that BJP has no majority and it does not belive in horse trading.
Harsh Vardhan also charged Aam Aadmi Party with doing politics on the script of Congress. He alleged that in 49 days Kejriwal government has not taken any significant decision for the betterment of city. He said the subsidy on water and power tariff benefited only rich people instead of poor. He also alleged that AAP is trying to create anarchy in the country with foreign funding.
CPI(M) said that the Aam Aadmi Party's commitment to pass the Jan Lokpal bill would have been an important measure to fight corruption in public life. However, the manner in which it was tabled in the Delhi Assembly yesterday was politically erroneous and inexpedient. In a statement, party Polit Bureau said, by not going through the prescribed procedure, the AAP provided opportunity for the BJP and the Congress to thwart the anti-graft measure leading to the fall of Kejriwal government.
