The Aaam Aadmi Party has released its third list of 20 candidates for upcoming Lok Sabha polls. Names of late comedian Jaspal Bhatti's wife Savita Bhatti, activist Rachna Dhingra and writer-activist Sarah Joseph figure in the list released in New Delhi on Saturday.
Savita Bhatti will contest from Chandigarh seat which is currently being represented by former Railway Minister Pawan Kumar Bansal. Rachna Dhingra has been fielded from Bhopal where she has been working for survivors of the Gas Tragedy. Sarah Joseph will fight from Thrissur in Kerala.
JNU professor Anand Kumar is to contest from North East Delhi, which is currently represented by Congress MP Jaiprakash Aggarwal.
The list of candidates will be on the party's website for five days to get feedback on any act of corruption, criminality or lack of moral character of the contestants. AIR correspondent reports, with this list, the total number of candidates announced by the party has reached 70.
