<br/>Delhi Police detained former Aam Aadmi Party leader Yogendra Yadav and more than 50 others from the site of a farmers' protest in the national capital last night. Talking to our correspondent this morning, Mr Yadav said that they do not know the reason why they were detained as they have been protesting peacefully at Jantar Mantar. Police said that the former AAP leader was detained due to security reasons.<br/><br/>Mr Yadav and scores others were taking part in a protest by farmers from Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan against the controversial amendments to the Land Bill. Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal has condemned the detention of Mr Yadav. In a tweet, Mr Kejriwal said, the protests were being held peacefully, and it is their fundamental right.
