Aam Aadmi party, AAP, Convener Arvind Kejriwal will meet the Lt. Governor of Delhi Najeeb Jung today to discuss the government formation in the national capital. AAP, the second largest party in the Delhi elections, on Friday night rejected Congress' offer of support to form a government. Congress had sent a letter to the Lt. Governor, offering unconditional support to AAP.
Congress's Delhi in-charge Shakeel Ahmed said the party is prepared to give outside support to the AAP.
Soon after Congress' offer, top AAP leaders met in Ghaziabad late Friday night and decided to reject the offer. AAP leader Yogendra Yadav said that they would present all the facts before the Lieutenant Governor.
The Delhi polls threw up a fractured mandate, with no party securing a majority in the 70-member Assembly.
