AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal demands early elections to Delhi assembly

The Aam Aadmi Party has demanded immediate dissolution of Delhi Assembly and fresh elections in the capital.

Addressing a huge rally at Jantar Mantar in Delhi Aam Aadmi Party leader Arvind Kejriwal attacked the BJP government at the Centre for not allowing dissolution of Delhi assembly as the party was not ready to face the electorate in the city.

Kejriwal said AAP was fully ready to face the election and claimed that BJP and Congress were shying away from polls as they were afraid of defeat. He said his party is giving a week's time to the government.

If they do not dissolve the assembly, the party will undertake door-to-door and signature campaign and demand dissolution of the assembly so that fresh elections can be conducted.

Earlier, addressing the gathering, AAP leader Manish Sisodia demanded dissolution of Delhi Assembly and fresh polls in the city.

Another leader, AAP leader Yogendra Yadav targeted the BJP and said people who are ruling Delhi from back door should have courage to come and fight Assembly polls.
