The Aam Aadmi Party, AAP, is holding public meetings in its 272 municipal wards today to get the opinion of people on Government formation with Congress in Delhi.
The party said the exercise to elicit people’s views would continue till tomorrow evening and the result would be declared by Monday. AAP leader Manish Sisodia has already said that there were indications that people of Delhi want the party to form the government but final decision will be taken only after the result of referendum comes.
Congress, after being routed in the Delhi Assembly polls had said that they would be giving unconditional support to AAP to form the government.
Meanwhile, Dilip Pandey, who handles AAP's web-based services told AIR that the party has received around seven lakh responses so far through SMS, Interactive Voice Response System and email on the issue of formation of government.
