Aam Admi Party has demanded a free, fair and time bound probe into the Indian Premier League spot fixing scandal. The Party welcomed the intervention of the Supreme Court into the allegations of match fixing and betting in IPL. Briefing reporters in New Delhi today AAP leader, Rahul Mehra said, in 2011 a Parliamentary committee had raised several questions on IPL saying it violated RBI norms and Company laws but no action has been taken till date. Mehra said the Board of Control for Cricket in India should come under RTI and its responsibility must be fixed. He also alleged that there are huge financial irregularities in sports federations being headed by leaders of different political parties.
