Aam Aadmi Party- AAP has demanded that the Election Commission should immediately bar BJP leader Amit Shah from entering Uttar Pradesh till the polling is over. In a statement in New Delhi, the party said that Shah's remark terming Azamgarh as a terrorist base, is a clear indication that he does not care for any constitutional authority in the country. AAP said that any delay by the Commission in this regard would raise fresh questions over its impartiality. It also alleged that poll body's ineffectiveness in dealing with continued hate speeches of Shah and open defiance of election laws by Narendra Modi can have serious repercussions on the conduct of free and fair polls.
