The Airports Authority of India (AAI) has won an international award in recognition of its excellence in the air traffic control industry. A senior AAI official said in Chennai today.

The Jane’s Award for 2012, an international award was given to AAI recently in the 'Best Operational Efficiency’ category, V Somasundaram, Member, (Air Navigation Services), AAI told reporters in Chennai. Somasundaram received the award in Amsterdam on March 5 on behalf of AAI.
